borderlands 2

sorry for the long break.
I have just started basic professional education started and all, but thats not the
real reason for the lack of reviews, i just lacked games to play to play and review, but i finally got one. I will review Borderlands 2.

gameplay
It all starts on the planet Pandora five years after events of the first borderlands game, when four vault hunters gunzerker Salvador, siren Maya, assassin Zero and commando Axton are traveling somewhere on a train when suddenly, games main antagonist's and Pandora's dictator handsome Jack's units ambushes them and tries to kill them. later, after the train crashes, only one hero survives and immediately meets claptrap, funny but a little annoying robot, who needs your help right away, as one of monsters rips his eye off and it has to be returned. After that, you will travel to sanctuary, the last hold of resistance against Jack's control over Pandora. Every character has only one special move that they can boost alongside their other stats. Salvador can use any two guns at once and shoot the enemies with more awesomeness. Axton can build a sabre turret, that will shoot the enemy and can be used as a distraction, aid or flanking. Zero can create holographic doll and turn invisible search for a weak spots. Maya's  siren ability phaselock can stop an enemy for a while and later bomb them with that. Later you can uprage all specials, so Axton can put two turrets, or Zero will throw kunai's while invisible. there are millions

and millions of guns, that can shoot fire, shock or corrosive bullets, burst shots
and i never got the number of all the guns in the game, since there are too much of them, totally different number from like, half-life or Skyrim. 




Overall 9/10
Game is awesome, sights are awesome characters are crazy and awesome
and you will be enjoying this, after you get over, that wild animals can
drop weapons and cash.

Amazing Alex

From the creators of angry birds came new game, that actually isn't a remake of angry birds. Behold: Amazing Alex.

Gameplay
  Rovio's cartoon styled graphics has affected this game, in which
you aid little alex-kid in creating various chain reactions while doing
some super hard tasks (pop the balloon, get ball to the basket. As you can see,

help is required) You will get such tools as balls, books, scissors, pipes, etc.
goal is to collect all the stars and accomplish goals

Simple, easy-minded thinking game
with fun new idea. good for long
trips.

xenoblade chronicles

Finally, Nintendo agrees to publish game, in role which is not
that green-wearing elf-guy, or that red-wearing plumber and that is actually good. I don't know, if there is something familiar same with the xenosaga except creators (Monolith soft) and the xeno-word, but whatever, it's good.

Gameplay
Just like in all jrpg:s, story happens in magical world, which in this case was formed from corpses of two Titans, Bionis and mechonis, on which all humans and animals lives on Bionis and a main hero is, of course early orphaned, teenage boy, who is destined to defend his kind from inhabitants of Mechonis, mechons, with power of magic sword, Monado. It is the only weapon against mechons, (alongside pushing them down the cliff, unfortunately, thats not an option.)  that works against mechons, gee, i wonder why, maybe because it's a frickin laser blade. For some people good thing is, you don't have to play as a shulk all the time, but you can also play with other charaters, that for similar to all jrpg:s for example loyal, big, meatshield friend,

Awesome views are the best thing in a game

almost-a-girlfriend, who's good with daggers, Magician girl, gunner/medic, talking ball creature with the mace and war veteran. it was the classic thing, that all jrpg:s have. New is liking. Of course everyone like others in cutscenes, but how do that help them. in Xeno, you got an answer.
There, everyone has a skill tree. The more the liking, the more skills you can borrow from a friend. Plus, the chain attack lasts longer. Bad thing is, that this game doesn't have very
changing missions. Go, destroy, fetch, it's making me crazy doing this all the time. But still game is very long. It took me 30 hours just to get to the half of game

Story of epic quest is good, views are good too,
but even i, who loves jrpg:s, that cannot played all the time.

 

Disgaea 4

This is a new game to more-or-less popular Disgaea series and i heard, it was one of the best Disgaea series since the first game. When the third game has involved demons (japanese?) school, this one involves japanese-demonic politics, when main hero, former tyrant Valvatorez, has to aim for the hell's president in order to save his people. He will have also to many monster's asses to achieve his goal and in that he will have help, like his butler werewolf Fernich, Demon Axel, Valvatorez's people prinnies (that are actually penguins), cat's, dragons and other god-know-what things that actually are also politicians. As fun it sounds, it still pretty good actually.

Should i make fun of that?

Gameplay
As any strategic role-playing game, you have to control many characters at once. Each one has his special moves, that makes nasty stuff. Playable characters are separated into two categories, human-likes and monster-likes.
Human-likes are those, that can have swords, bows, guns and other stuff and
monster-likes (kittens, prinnies, undeads, living mushrooms, vice versa)  are those, who can be all those things above due to special magichange stuff, that
is between human-like and monster-like magic.

I hadn't much more to write. the game is fun,
challenges your strategic thinking, as you think of a best
attack plan possible.
warning: weird game idea of demonic politics, but
hey, at least it's something new.

okami

This is one of the best games I've ever played!
sure it's a little old, since it's released in 2008 and Zelda rip-off but it's still frickin awesome! In game, you are a
goddess of sun Amaterasu, who have woken from her 100 year old slumber to help nice people of Nippon, who have been attacking by rising army of dread Orochi. As sidekick, she have a little helper called Issun the wandering perv... artist and a magical celestial brush , by help of which amaterasu, or called by Issun, Ammy, can make magic tricks, like magic slash, controlling elements, making bombs, (obviously) creating sun, vice versa.

Gameplay
 Controlling is not best part of game. It is graphics. Whole game is made

in cute japanese-styled inked graphics, that are good to see in every part of the game. In game you will travel in forests, fields, cities ice mountains and even underwater, man's insides and tower, that reaches the clouds.  All celestial brush techniques you can obtain by helping thirteen different "god" animals, that live in a constellations that requires to use the brush to connect the stars and listen to their speech, that is same at every god animals, that is greeting Ammy, telling that evil has locked them in stars and giving awesome abilities. You cannot just use Magic brush, as each move uses

one inkwell and it requires time to refill them automatically and in that case you should use your weaponry. Weapons in this game are three types: Ammys basic weapon, solar disk, celestial ummm... whip and Japanese two-hand blade.
They can be put either primary or alternative, which will make their use of pretty different, that means converting solar disk into shield, whip into gun and blade into lance. Enemies are obviously related with japanese  mythology, so they contain imps, tengus, angry Buddhist statues and undead flying fishes (sushi time!). While in battle Amaterasu can do some special "finishing move", that can give 1-3 special demon fangs, that are used to buy
more awesome stuff, like magic peaches, inkwell stuff or even special blanket, that helps you to walk on water (you mad, Jesus?). Also, in game alongside with
main quests you can also help people of Nippon in various side quests, that rewards you with praise points, with what you can upgrade your life and inkwell counts and with special clay beads, that if you collect 100, you will become truly
goddess of that goddamn sun, as you will have infinite life and ink! AAAWWW
YEEEAAAHH!

overall 9.5/10.0
Graphics are awesome, music is too and gameplay too.
What then can go wrong? well i tell. i didn't find the bad thing. except for over-candyish graphics
Forget it's one of endless Legend of Zelda rip-offs,
you must buy this game, alongside the Zelda: twilight princess
and xenoblade  chronicles, you simply must.

Soul calibur 5

5. Soul calibur's  story takes 17 years after events of 4th
game and in that time many things has been changed.
Sophitia Alexandra's kids Patrokolos and pyrrha has
been grewn and took their roles in story i will tell later about, Kilik, Xianghua and Taki got new followers , Astaroth and Yoshimitsu got new followers with exactly same name and Darth Vader lost his place as quest character to new one, ezio Auditore da Firenze.

Gameplay
Gaming is almost same  as in other previous games

except that fact, that this is easier to play. For example, in previous games you had to do god-knows-what things to make critical finish, but now all you need, is full energy meter and then moving joystick as you would make
shinku hadouken from street fighter and pressing r2 button (that is for Ps3, i don't
know, how it is on xbox360). Arcade mode for difference, has five ways of clearing, but it has no goddamn endings that used to be in previous games.

Characters
One thing that is also different, is characters. Some characters like old-good Maxi, Mitsurugi, Servantes, Ivy, Raphael and old tekken rip-off Yoshimitsu hasn't much. Raphael, Voldo and Servantes are okay with it, they are vampire, puppet and undead, but others have maybe found philosopher's
stone and are immortals? At least Siegfried have aged throughout the game

from left to right: z.w.e.i., Natsu, Maxi and Ivy

series. As i mentioned earlier, Sophitia, Kilik, Xianghua and Taki have
been replaced with Patrokolos, Pyrrha, Xiba, Leixia and Natsu, but also
there is new ones, such as werewolf/shamanic guy z.w.e.i.,
mystical girl Viola, beard guy
Edge master and angel-like Elysium.

 Others
Story mode is kinda lame,where you can barely see quarter of all the charaters and play with even less of them. It tells about kids of Sophitia, Pyrrha and Patrokolos, who got separated in early years and has to have to fight each other, since Patrokolos got holy soul calibur in his posession, while Pyrhha got
on posession of dread soul edge. In story they also try to do not they have faithed. And one thing is still unchanged is character creation! There you can make your own heroes and heralds based on main character styles, like
katana kitty, rip-off of scorpion, Abraham Lincoln or new costumes to main characters, except Ezio, which is pity thing.

Overall 7.5/10
game's not bad, but it lacks much previous games had.
Has nice music, stages and it looks good anyway.

Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3

General

I've borrowed this game from my friend and what can i say?

It was pretty awesome though i don't get it, why it had to make

a whole new game after marvel vs capcom 3, just to add new 12 new characters and outlook, when they could just make them a DLC.But, amongst the old gang, like spider-man, Ryu, wesker, old good Deadpool,

"your mom must be very proud of you."

Dormammu and Dante, there is added such new persons, like 

sorcerer supreme Dr. Strange, demon firebrand, Dante's brother Vergil, cocky but funny rocket raccoon, martial marts master iron fist

and to real general astonishment, Lawyer phoenix wright, who is kinda good one.

Gameplay

Particularly game hasn't changed a bit, except it got a new outfit, few new

 stages, arcade endings and a new game mode Heroes and Heralds, where you choose between being good or bad guy, and either defend earth from attack of Galactus,or help him to conquer it. And yes, Galactus is still boss of the arcade mode, though after gaining some scores you can actually play as Galactus and try to destroy both Marvel and capcom dimensions, when worlds main bad guys, Dr. Doom (Marvel) and Albert wesker (Capcom) fuse them together just

with new characters you can now make even better teams

to give player a good gaming time. it's good in single-player, but is better

with good playmate or online.

Overall

New characters  are nice, especially i like

Dr. Strange or vergil, new  stages aren't really astonishing and

new costume DLCs are pretty good, but i still

would choose Skyrim between these two.

grade: 8,5/10

new characters are nice, also themes, outlook and gamemodes,

but paying 30.00e for these improvements is a madness, except

if you got enough money from old MvC3 to buy this one for a

lesser cost.
